PRETTY AND PETITE
Armeria Pretty Petite - this new perennial is aptly named - its pretty and petite and perfect for winter garden colour.
It's flowering now. Pretty Petite is part of a new generation of Armeria which have been bred for better performance with bolder colours which appear over a much long period. Armerias are very forgiving plants in the garden and their easy care nature will reward you with an almost year round display of bold flowers and in the case of Pretty Petite - a mass of little pink flower balls on leafless stems. Its foliage forms a tight tufted mound of ornamental grass like leaves. Growing to just 20 cm high by 40 cm wide, Pretty Petite works well in containers, small gardens, mixed borders, edging and coastal gardens - its surprisingly tough and dry tolerant once established.
