PETUNIA RASPBERRY BLAST - LARGER THAN LIFE
This relatively new perennial is back this season larger than life - in fact so large it is appearing in hot pink wheelie bin display up and down the country (you might even see one or two at the 2013 Ellerslie International Flower Show).
Petunia Raspberry Blast is one petunia that continues to wow. Careful breeding has let to a trailing habit, continual flowerin and extreme tolerance to heat, perfect for the summer days we are now experiencing.
It truly is the perfect perennial. All it takes is just one plant of Raspberry Blast to completely smother a large hanging basket or container, trailing over the edges in a cascade of gorgeous pink blooms edges in deep cerise pink. Its 5 cm - 6cm flowers will cover the entire plant from spring right through to the first winter frosts and it will grow to approximately 25 cm by 60 - 80 cm in full sun/part shade.
