Ruffles Lavender SugarberryRuffles SugarberryThe Ruffles series of lavender feature a gorgeous range of flower colours which smother the plant for a long period from late winter through til early spring. Their aesthetic appeal does not end there as the chunky bract atop the flower heads are distinctively rippled along their margins to give the ruffled appearance for which they have been named. Bred with the specific intention of achieving a compact and neat habit the Ruffles series is a very useful garden companion. These are quick growing and great in pots, mixed with other perennials in the flower garden or even as a small clipped hedge. Ruffles lavenders prefer full sun and a well drained site. A light prune after main flowering flush followed by another prune during late summer will encourage a bushy habit and repeat flowering. |
