Lophomyrtus Red Dragon

This hardy evergreen has distinct burgundy foliage which intensifies to almost black in the colder months.  With its dense habit and fine foliage this native is superb in most garden situations as a hedge, border, or just as a low maintenance garden specimen planted amongst other such structured solutionz.  Its ideal situation is in full sun to part shade, in fertile moist soils, and preferring a little protection from heavy frosts in its infancy.  This plant is approximately two years old which it reaches the garden centre and will double in size over the next two years eventually growing to a height of 2 m by 1 m if desired.
