Libertia Taupo BlazeLibertia Taupo BlazeThis new, hardy, native, evergreen Iris has all year round style and interest. In autumn, the spiky sword-like foliage changes from green through to yellow/orange to an intense burnt red. To complement the colourful foliage, white star-like flowers are produced in spring in clusters just clear of the foliage, followed by attractive orange/red berries in autumn. Its clumping habit and looks make it a spectacular plant in almost all garden situations. Mass planted, as a border, easy care, structured, as a container specimen and in most climatic and soil conditions. This plant is approximately eighteen months old when it reaches the garden centre and you can expect it to double in size over the next two years, growing to a height of 0.6 metres by 0.6 metres.
