Lavender Hidcote Blue

This English lavender has a compact habit, producing a dense mass of short stemmed blooms with dark blue button like flowers in late spring to into the summer months.  Its evergreen and hardy nature make it superb mass planted, ideal in dried flower arrangements, as a general garden plant and renowned for its fragrance.  Lavender performs best in full sun and responds well to regular pruning.  This plant is approximately one year old when it reaches the Garden Centre and will triple in size over the next two years, growing to a height of 30cm by 30cm if desired.
