LancewoodPseudopanax FeroxThis stunning evergreen native commonly known as "Lancewood" has a distinct habit of prominent tooth shaped leaves. Narrow in shape, these very dark grey/brown leaves can grow up to 40 cm long. Slow in growth habit they are ideal in most structured plantings, look superb group planted and require little if any care. They thrive in most New Zealand garden situations, prefer free drained soils and extremely hardy. This plant is approximately two years old when it reaches the garden centre and will double in size over the next two years, eventually growing to a height of 3 m by 1 m if desired. |
