<p>Bred by Dr Keith Hammett of New Zealand, these herbaceous perennials are renowned for their fashionable mahogony black lacquered foliage.  Mystic Wonder has distinct velvety red blooms flowering continuously through late spring into summer.  Mystic Wonder maintains a tidy habit: is superb in containers, mass planted for impact among native grasess, and is very pest and disease resistant.  Mystic Wonder will enliven even the dullest of gardens with its textural foliage and vivid blooms - it is truly colour invigorating.  Plant in full sun in moist but drained soils.  This plant is approximately one year old when it reaches the garden centre and will triple in size and spread over the next two years growing to a height of 80 cm by 60 cm if desired.</p>
