DAHLIA 'MYSTIC DESIRE' - NEW ZEALAND GARDENER - PLANT OF THE MONTH - DECEMBER 2008

'Mystic Desire' flowers continously through late spring into summer.  It is compact in habit (your stakes can stay in the garden shed) and incredibly easy care.  For drama in a modern landscape try plnating it alongside natives such as Astelia 'Silver Spear', Coprosma 'Karo Red' or flaxes.  This stunning dahlia also makes a dramatic container plant - or group a few together in a large pot for even more pizzazz in a courtyard.

Dahlia 'Mystic Desire' is best grown in full sun.  Plant in rich, moisture-retentive soil.  Dahlia 'Mystic Desire' is available now in garden centres as a 'Colour Solutionz'.
